Here’s the outcome of the project I’ve been working on with Jasjit Singh of University of Leeds and Helen Limon of Newcastle University – an AHRC funded short documentary about British Sikh artists’ responses to the storming of the storming of the Golden Temple in June 1984 in Amritsar, India. I worked on the camera, sound and editing and you can watch the culmination of the project below.

Towards the end of 2015 I took part in the project ‘(R)agency? The Creative Practices of Anger‘. Working as part of a multidisciplinary network of artists, writers and academics the project explored the productive and transformative potential of anger. I had the pleasure to collaborate with Jasjit Singh, an academic from the University of Leeds on a short film exploring creative responses by young Sikh artists and activists to the Storming of the Golden Temple in Amritsar, 1984.
