Working as a Video Artist for (R)agency

Towards the end of 2015 I took part in the project ‘(R)agency? The Creative Practices of Anger‘.  Working as part of a multidisciplinary network of artists, writers and academics the project explored the productive and transformative potential of anger.  I had the pleasure to collaborate with Jasjit Singh, an academic from the University of Leeds on a short film exploring creative responses by young Sikh artists and activists to the Storming of the Golden Temple in Amritsar, 1984.

Kyoto: Japan in four Pictures

On a recent trip to Kyoto I tried to capture four characteristics of Japan – it’s ageing population; love of shopping; penchant for traditional dress and abundance of cyclits – in four pictures
